Welcome to our historic cottage, once a family home, now transformed into a haven of comfort and privacy!
This typical winegrower's house, dating from 1860, still resonates with memories of the past. It was the domain of our beloved grandfather, Louis, master cooper by profession. With passion and know-how, he gave birth to barrels that housed the treasures of the region. This is how “Chez Louis le Tonnelier” was created.
Today, this house has been completely renovated with love, preserving its charm of yesteryear while offering modern comfort. Composed of two suites and a sauna, our house can accommodate up to eight people, ideal for reunions with family, friends or lovers.
Granddaughter of Louis Anot "le Cooper du Village", Aurore grew up in the heart of the vineyards, bathed in the love of her family and the passion for champagne.
For 21 years, she worked as an accountant in a wine supply cooperative, thus contributing to the growth of winegrowers in the region.
In 2017, driven by a deep desire to perpetuate the family legacy, Aurore decided to embark on a daring adventure. She undertook the transformation work of her grandparents' house, thus giving birth to an exceptional gîte in 2019. A place where history blends with modernity, creating a unique and warm atmosphere.
But Aurore didn't stop there. She also owns a little less than one hectare of vines from her parents, thus giving life to her own champagne: Dewitte Anot by Aurore. The love and know-how passed down from generation to generation can be found in each bottle, offering visitors an incomparable taste experience.
